Nothing In Between
When freelance illustrator and artist Kine Anderesen start illustrating a new piece, she gets ideas from all over the place. It could be a glimpse of something behind a chair, on the bus or even just a movement. She likes to peel away layers of the reality, to show the world how she experience it.
Kine likes to play with the same color palette in different pieces, giving the illustrations a series-feeling. Her signature is her explicit drawings and strong use of cultural symbols. She gets huge inspiration from 90s pop and hip-hop culture. Just like the 90s comics, extreme love and sorrow is the main focus. Nothing in between. Kine calls herself a perfectionist, and will draw the same line over and over, until she fully happy with the result.
