Concrete and steel, glass, movable constructions and fabric are some of the elements that form Danish furniture and object design studio Menu’s new showroom. Titled Menu Space, the showroom—which is located at Nordhavnen in Copenhagen and designed by the acclaimed Norm Architects—is created on the ambition to serve as a space where likeminded creative thinkers could get closer to the brand and encourage them to share their stories, ideas and processes.
By this approach, the showroom is inevitably more than what its definition suggests. With an interior inspired by the raw and industrial surroundings at the up and coming harbour area, Menu Space consists of a showroom, office and a café—all flexible and easy to adjust, modify and change, ultimately creating a unique 700-square-metre creative space dedicated to exploration, conversation, inspiration and collaboration within, and around, the Menu brand. Quite exquisite.
